Renevatio childrens fund is dedicated to providing financial assistance to its primary beneficiary, CAATTCH ltd. Government statistics show adoption disruptions have doubled in the last 5 years. CAATTCH ltd is a registered adoption support agency.  They specialise in providing therapeutic support for adoptive parents whose children suffer with attachment difficulties and where the children are not able to attach to their adoptive parents.  

Most of the children who are suffering from attachment difficulties experienced significant trauma while living with their birth families.  Many of the children were neglected, abused and suffered domestic violence over extended periods of time.  These adverse experiences often leave the adopted child with an intense fear, sadness and anger towards the adoptive parents.  When the child is placed for adoption the child projects these negative feelings on the adoptive parent and “blames” the adopters.  This causes a catalogue of behavioural problems which are addressed through effective therapy  by CAATTCH preventing adoption disruptions.
